Some remarks after trying this audio editor...
#1
I've been working with this program for some weeks now.
I used to be working with Wavelab Elements and Audition. Wavelab is ok but too stripped down. Audition is becoming too complicated. Soundop must be the answer for me...

Well first of all, let me say that this is a beautiful program, well designed with a very fast workflow, a lot of tools and... excellent automation possibilities! The mixer environment is nice and the engine sounds transparent and fairly cogent with enough headroom.

But...I have some remarks (or do I miss something?):

1. There is no mono switch available.  The solution is to route  tracks to a mono bus.  Very unwieldy.
2. Saved VST presets are not plug-in native!!  You can't use them in other programs.  For me this is really a big issue.
3. After deleting a vst preset , the list is not being refreshed. The preset still remains in the list.
4. I surely miss the possibility to work with tabs . This is a almost a must when you have opened several audio files. Not  cluttered in separate windows, oh no!
5. The bitrate of the audio file is not being displayed in the audio properties area in the lower section of the program. This is rather annoying.

Sorry to be so critical. You have a developed a marvelous program and I assume that there is coming much much more in the future. However it's rather strange that this great program is never come to my attention before. Perhaps due to some marketing issues?

I absolutely consider buying Soundop!
