I would like to raise this request again, as I believe it would be a huge usability improvement.  In fact, this is exactly what has kept me using Sound Forge for years, is the ability to double click between two markers to quickly select the range.


You are correct that in SoundOp you can go through the trouble of making a range and then selecting it, but it's so much faster/easier and more intuitive to double click between two markers and automatically select the range.  SoundOp currently selects the full view of your zoom level, which is not really useful imho.

If others do find it useful, you could default to the full view of your zoom level when no markers are present, but use the markers if they exist.  You could also use triple-click to get the full range and override the markers.

If you add this feature, I'll happily convert to SoundOp full time!
