Add TruePeak Limite - pavelgazi - 08-10-2025

Match Loudness Add TruePeak Limiter which is very effective. There are some other small things during normalization that I will tell you.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out.

You might consider using the Match EBU R128 processor as an alternative to Match Loudness in Adobe Audition. This processor features both Normalize and Limiter actions, which can be adjusted to meet your specific needs.

What I want isn't here, so I think I'll use Audition as a clip-to- external editor.

Hi,

We are unsure about the differences in audio processing. It appears that Adobe Audition also normalizes audio based on loudness and applies a true peak limiter afterward.

Thanks for your feedback.

Best regards.

In radio production, consistent loudness matching for voice-over is extremely important. At present, even for simple record, edit, and export tasks, we often have to move into the Mixspace Multitrack timeline just to match loudness levels.
My suggestion is to integrate True Peak limiting into the loudness matching option. This would allow users to export directly without any clipping or distortion. For me, this feature is highly necessary, and I believe it would be a huge time-saver for both beginners and professional users, making audio production-ready much faster.
In other advanced digital audio workstations, I’ve noticed that if there is any clipping in the audio, the export simply does not proceed. If Soundop implements this feature, we could ensure more accurate, clip-free output in less time.
I strongly request the Soundop team to consider adding this feature as soon as possible, keeping both new and professional users in mind. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

When you use the match clip level function in Soundop, the source audio file remains unchanged; only the clip gain is adjusted to modify the volume. Because of this, a limiter effect cannot be applied during clip level matching, as it would require altering the original audio file. This limitation is likely why Adobe Audition also does not apply a limiter when matching clip loudness.

As an alternative, you can create a batch processor and use the Match EBU R128 processor to adjust loudness and apply a true peak limiter across multiple audio files. Additionally, you can select multiple clips and process their source files with the Match EBU R128 processor. This operation will automatically generate processed versions of the audio files and replace the originals in the clips with these new versions.

If you have any questions or need further assistance with this process, please let us know.

Thank you.

Best regards,
