RE: some feature suggestions - balanced - 03-16-2025 Thank you, much appreciated. I will make backups and continue using the software to see if everything works from now on. Edit: It seems that the same behaviour didn't happen again for me and it's working now, I will continue using workspaces with backups. RE: some feature suggestions - balanced - 03-26-2025 Couple of observations: It seems that toolbar icon settings are not saved to workspaces? I believe I adjusted them to my liking last time I customized my workspaces, hiding all unnecessary icons. Now pretty much all icons are present again in the toolbar. I think I upgraded the software in between, I might not have noticed that all icons are back again when I did the upgrade. And another one, resetting level indicators does not work in track meters or the Levels panel if you use static peaks. RE: some feature suggestions - balanced - 03-26-2025 Another one still: I tried to start recording sample material for my new piece today. I'm working in Audio File editor but I can't seem to find a way to monitor the signal being recorded. I can meter the signal and play back the recorder file, but I see no way to listen to incoming signal. Is this really the case or am I missing something obvious? In mixspace mode there is button for every track to easily enable or disable input monitoring. For simple recording tasks you need the input monitoring button to be available, as messing with your sound card direct monitoring settings is not always convenient. Also if you want to use input FX for recording in Audio File editor, I can't see how you would be able to hear what you are doing, if you can't monitor the input. But perhaps I'm missing something here? I consulted the manual but couldn't find advice there. RE: some feature suggestions - balanced - 04-22-2025 Thank you for these ![]() RE: some feature suggestions - balanced - 04-22-2025 I tested the Monitor input feature briefly. Would it be possible to enable the monitoring to work also when pause & rec are both engaged? And to enable this state to be achieved by pressing first pause and then rec? The problem now is that you can't hear what you are about to record (before recording) if you route audio through Soundop. We have released a new version that supports monitoring input signals in the audio file editor while recording is paused. Please check it out. Best regards. |
